Terms of use
Effective October 23, 2026
Please read these Terms carefully. They limit our liability (section 12) and ask you to settle disputes by individual arbitration rather than in court or a class action (section 14).

1. Who we are and these Terms
Fluent is a tool that runs Claude Code sessions on your computer from your tickets. It is made and operated by FluentWorks ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of use are an agreement between you and us.
By creating an account, ticking the agreement box, or using Fluent, you accept these Terms, together with the Privacy policy and the AI use disclaimer, which are part of them. If you do not agree, do not use Fluent.
If you use Fluent for a company or other organization, you accept these Terms for it as well, and you confirm you have the authority to do so. "You" then means both of you.
2. Who can use Fluent
You must be 18 or older and in the United States, and you must use Fluent for your work or business, not as a consumer for personal, family or household purposes. We offer Fluent only in the United States. You must not use it if the law or a sanction forbids you from receiving it.
Access may be limited: we approve each new account, and we may decline or delay any request to sign up.
3. Your account
Give a real email address you control, keep your password private, and tell us at support@develcentral.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for everything done with your account, including by anyone you let use your computer or your sign-in.
The owner of an organization decides who is a member, and is responsible for the members they invite and for the organization's plan.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use Fluent, or let your sessions use it, to:
- break any law or anyone's rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
- reach systems, accounts or data you are not authorized to reach, or attack, probe or disrupt any system;
- create or spread malware, spam, or content that is unlawful, abusive or deceptive;
- overload, reverse engineer or get around the limits or security of the service, except as the law allows;
- resell the service or offer it to others as your own; or
- break the terms or policies of Anthropic, Linear or any other service your sessions reach.
We may remove content, stop a session's access or take the other steps in section 10 if we believe you have broken this section.
5. Sessions and AI output
Sessions run Claude Code on your computer, signed in as you, with what your computer and accounts can reach. You are responsible for what your sessions do and for what you do with their output. Output produced by AI can be wrong, incomplete or harmful, and you must review it before you rely on it. We give no warranty about it. The AI use disclaimer sets out the detail and is part of these Terms.
6. Your content
Your content is what you or your sessions put into Fluent: tickets, boards, settings, session records and saved files. You keep every right you have in it, and you are responsible for it and for having the rights to use it.
You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process and show your content only to run, secure and support the service for you, and as the law requires. The license ends when your content is deleted, except for copies we must keep under the Privacy policy or the law.
7. Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them for any purpose without paying you or owing you anything. You are not required to send any.
8. Third-party services
Fluent works with services we do not run, including Anthropic (Claude and Claude Code), Linear, GitHub and Stripe. You use them under your own accounts and their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them, their availability or what they do with your data. A change by one of them can change or stop what Fluent can do.
Fluent is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic or Linear. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC. Linear is a trademark of Linear Orbit, Inc.
9. Paid plans, renewal and cancellation
Free is free to use, within the limits on the pricing page. Pro is a paid plan, billed through Stripe at the price shown on the pricing page and in checkout before you pay. Nothing is charged without your agreement.
- Automatic renewal. Pro renews automatically every month, charging the payment method on file, until you cancel. The owner pays for each member of the organization; a member who joins is charged for the rest of the month, and one who leaves comes off the next invoice.
- Cancelling. The owner can cancel any time in Settings, Organization, Manage billing. Pro then stays on until the end of the month you paid for, and the organization moves to Free.
- Refunds. Payments are not refundable, and we do not refund partial months, except where the law requires a refund.
- Price changes. We will tell the owner by email at least 30 days before a new price applies. It applies from the next renewal after that notice; cancel before then if you do not accept it.
- Taxes and failed payments. Prices do not include taxes, which you pay where they apply. If a payment fails, we may move the organization to Free until it is paid.
10. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Fluent at any time, and ask us to delete your account as the Privacy policy describes.
We may suspend or end your access, or an organization's, at once and without notice if you break these Terms, if your use puts the service, us or others at risk, or if the law requires it. We may also change, pause or end the service, or any part of it, at any time; we will try to give notice by email first. If we end a paid plan for a reason other than your breach, we will refund the unused part of the month you paid for.
Sections 6 (the license ends as described), 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 17 survive the end of these Terms.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
Fluent is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, or that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or free of errors.
We do not warrant that output produced by AI sessions is correct, complete, secure or fit for any purpose, or that sessions will act as you intended. You use the service, your sessions and their output at your own risk, and you are responsible for keeping backups of your work.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we and our owners, contractors and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, work, goodwill or business, arising from or related to Fluent or these Terms, including what a session does on your computer or accounts, even if we were told such loss was possible.
Our total liability for all claims arising from or related to Fluent or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Fluent in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim, and 100 US dollars.
These limits apply whatever the legal theory, and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. They do not limit liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for fraud or willful misconduct.
13. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us, and our owners, contractors and suppliers, against any claim, loss, damage, fine or cost (including reasonable attorneys' fees) brought by a third party and arising from your content, your use of Fluent, what your sessions do, or your breach of these Terms or of the law or anyone's rights. We will tell you about such a claim and may take part in its defense with counsel of our choice.
14. Disputes, arbitration and class action waiver
You and we agree to settle any dispute arising from or related to Fluent or these Terms by final and binding individual arbitration, not in court, except as this section allows. You and we waive any right to a jury trial and to bring or take part in a class, collective or representative action, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Before starting any claim, email support@develcentral.com with a description of the dispute and what you want; both sides will try in good faith to settle it within 60 days.
If it is not settled, the American Arbitration Association will administer the arbitration under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator, in California, or by video or on written submissions where the rules allow. The arbitrator decides questions about the scope and enforceability of this agreement to arbitrate, except that a court decides whether the class action waiver is enforceable. The arbitrator may award relief only to the individual party and only as far as needed for that party's claim. If the class action waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim must be heard in court, not in arbitration.
Either side may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court, or ask a court for an injunction to protect its intellectual property or to stop unauthorized access to the service. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms; you are then bound only by the next section.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the Federal Arbitration Act, without regard to conflict of law rules. Subject to the arbitration agreement above, the state and federal courts located in California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms, the Privacy policy or the AI use disclaimer. When we do, the effective date at the top of each changes, and the next time you sign in or open the app you are asked to read and accept the new version before you continue. For a change that matters, we will also try to email you first. If you do not accept a change, stop using Fluent and, if you wish, ask us to delete your account. A change does not apply to a dispute already started.
17. General terms
These Terms, with the Privacy policy and the AI use disclaimer, are the entire agreement between you and us about Fluent, and replace any earlier one. If a court or arbitrator finds part of them unenforceable, that part is enforced as far as possible and the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them to a company we form to run Fluent, or in a merger or sale, and we will tell you when we do. Neither side is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, employment or agency between us. We may send you notices by email to the address on your account or in the app.
